Honey Bear

Troy says: I'm a freelance photographer and I help out at Best Friends Animal Society in Utah by photographing homeless pets. This little guy, Honey Bear, was so fun to photograph. He was adopted just a few days after arriving here, so it was bittersweet for me. I was very glad that he found a good home, but I was bummed that I couldn't continue with an entire series of Honey Bear. He was/is special.

Honey Bear, you're so sweet to share your water like that! I'm really glad that you found a furrever home right away, but I hope you thanked the photographer before you left for taking such great pictures of you.

Jello is you think this kitten is horrifying you need new glasses and a heart! BEST FRIENDS ANIMAL SOCIETY is the best ever rescue in the world! I volunteered there for a week and did not want to leave! It is a wonderful place that does miraculous work and if I could I would move there and stay forever it is that special! There is nothing they can't do and they are a gift from God to the animals!

Troy - I am GREEN WITH ENVY!! I visited Best Friends a few years ago (haven't had the money to go back yet) and I cried the day I had to leave! LOVE THAT PLACE! Their operation is just MIND-BOGGLING! I was there shortly after they brought home HUNDREDS of dogs from overseas to save them!

Sorry, I can't say enough about Best Friends! LOVE THEM!

Jello, there is nothing "horrifying" about this sweet, innocent, wide-eyed kitten, only about your comment. And Troy, thank you so much for the work you do for Best Friends. They are the best organization of their kind. You are so fortunate to be able to work with the dedicated staff and the fantastic volunteers who care for these animals in need. My dream is to one day visit and see for myself the fantastic job they do every day. Thank you for sharing your photos of this little "Honey" of a kitten.

To be charitable, I am thinking Jello is challenged by the language and just doesn't know the right form of the word. I think the kitten looks startled and maybe "horrified".
