Marilena says: Our group has been rescuing street cats in Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil, for 11 years now. It's a small group and we have a very strict health protocol. Our cats are adopted only after being neutered/spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. We don't have a shelter -- we keep a very small number of cats at a time, and they stay either at a vet clinic or at foster homes once they're ready for adoption.

Oscar was abandoned when he was barely a few weeks old in a farm-school here in our city. Some employees took care of him for a while, but since there are many dogs around the farm it was just a matter of time before something terrible would happen to him. We took him to the clinic where he was put under observation… when he arrived he was so hungry it was heartbreaking to see him eat and eat and eat!! Oscar is still waiting for a forever home, and we pray he'll find one soon!

Oscar is a precious little white kitten - I love blue-eyed white cats (I live with one)! You do wonderful work with these babies, and I hope Oscar finds his furever home very soon!

If I'm not mistaken, Oscar seems to have a bit of flame-point siamese in him. One of my six-month-old kittens is a flame-point mix and she is an adorable little imp! The lucky family that Oscar adopts is in for endless entertainment.

What a cutie! Best wishes in finding a forever home for Oscar.

I wonder if his color will fill in further. When I found my kitty Max he was all white, but then started to develop orange stripes on his tail and color on his nose like Oscar has in this photo. Max now looks like a flame-point siamese.

Oscar is a cutie- I also noticed his orange tail- and I have a rescue kitty who started out white, with blue eyes and an orange tail and now he looks just like a flame point Siamese (shape of the face too). Oscar may have some of that in him. He is adorable. I'd adopt him in a second!

Oscar is a flame (orange) point Siamese - soon his ears, face and feet will match his tail. He will be gorgeous! I would marry him if I was allowed to get married but my mother is very strict and I cannot even date
