Marilena says: When our rescue group in took in
Oscar, he came with three siblings, two sisters and one brother. They were all so weak and so hungry. His sister Abigail is a diva, haha. Unfortunately she had a disabled paw that had to be amputated. But she's doing very well now. The lack of a leg doesn't make any difference for her...she runs and plays and fights with her friends when they steal her mousy. She meows a lot demanding attention all the time, is very friendly with everyone (dogs included) and loves to cuddle and purrs a lot! Absolutely delicious. And she has already been adopted! Oscar's other sister, Isadora, never sat still so there is only one photo of her, but happily she has already been adopted too!
Our group has been rescuing street cats in Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil, for 11 years now. It's a small group and we have a very strict health protocol, our cats are adopted only after being neutered/spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. We don't have a shelter -- we keep a very small number of cats at a time, and they stay either at a vet clinic or at foster homes once they're ready for adoption.
