Ilker says: This is Kumpir (male), my Persian kitten. I bought him three months ago. But there are health problems and I gave back. Soon after I got Patron.

Poor little kitty. I agree with MomcatSooma. It breaks my heart too that he was returned. I hope the breeders are helping him get over his sickness. I hope they are responsible cat breeders, not that kind who breed as many cats as possible for the profit. It is a living being we are talking about not a faulty equipment. The kitty needs care and love.

Agree with MomcatSooma and MissyofMissylandia. These are living creatures and should be treated with dignity and compassion!

Maybe you should have tried to help and love Kumpir.

Sometimes, cats that are retunrned don't live that much in those stores.

Maybe you can take a look to a shelter and adopt instead of buying kitties or doggies.

I agree with everyone else! That is giving up on a innocent cat. I do hope the kitty is healthy now and in a loving furever home.

This little fellow looks like a shell Cameo Persian; had one many years ago and miss her every day - Alexandria Scheherazade, my beautiful baby, over the Rainbow Bridge.

shame on you for returning him. If you feel the need to "buy" a cat when there are so many needing homes that is your first problem. If you don't want to take care of your cat after you have him don't bother in the first place

I hope you are showing us this "returned" cat because you feel guilty about abandoning him. Your backstory is so meager that I can only guess he had a terminal illness--in which case I would never buy from that seller again, even in exchange. I must make allowances here for language difficulties, perhaps.

Shame on you! Unless the vet costs were too much for you to handle, why didn't you keep him - I'm sure the breeder would have returned your money in a case like this. How could you give up this beautiful kitty?

I agree with everyone else. SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!!! I hope you feel absolutely terrible that you gave this precious baby back but it was probably the best thing for him since you obviously don't care!!!

This doesn't make sense. When you click on "Ilker", it brings you to a page with stock photos of this kitten. ?????

I agree with everyone else, too! SHAME ON YOU!!!!!You obviously don't really care about these lovely creatures and don't deserve to have such a lovely little one. I hope he's healthy and happy now in a much better home than yours!

Sorry you had to give up your kitty. I hope he goes to a great new home. I live with a 14 year old persian who someone also gave up and has tons of health issues for the past 10 years and recently just went blind. He is happy, healthy as he can be and a great little guy!

I just have to say that you show a complete lack of compassion by "giving back" this beautiful kitten because of health problems! However, the kitten is undoubtedly in better hands than yours, wherever he is now. How could you return him after having him for three months?! I've only seen his picture for a couple of minutes and I am completely hooked!
SHAME ON YOU for being so uncaring!

I don't know what the problem is, if I'd bought a pair of shoes that were faulty I'd take them back. This is a financial transaction and so the customer should get what they paid for, not something broken.

A living kitten is not the same as a pair of shoes.

He is a lovely little angel with a sad face - not surprising considering he was sick, and has now been "returned". When you give a furever home to a kitten it is furever, come what may - through the good times and the bad times. If the kitten is ill, he needs love, and care, and stability, and veterinary care to make him well, or to help him die peacefully. I simply can't understand him being returned. He has been betrayed, poor little mite. He has been punished for being "faulty", for something that is not his fault. I hope somebody has given him a home and cared for him.

I recognized the name 'Kumpir' as a Turkish food item, and if you look a little further into the contact details, you will find 'Ilker' originates in Izmir, Turkey where there are few, if any, animal rights. I say this because I live here. http://www.piaberrend.org/turkey-animal…
Hopefully Kumpir had good luck.

I looked up Patron's page as well. Did anyone notice that he feeds the cat chocolate. This guy is a moron. He shouldn't have any animals.

Everyone above said it all!! If you want a pet that will always be perfect get a stuffed toy! Would you give back a sick child? Same thing. It is a commitment!

Looks like Kumpir, is asking why he had to be given back in this photo. Was his health problem, fatal? He sure is a cute little cattie. Beautiful fur.

I want to cry. That is wrong. A Persian is not an inexpensive breed to own, so how could you afford the kitten, who is absolutely gorgeous, give him back, and get another, and not have the money to get him to a vet? You should feel remorse for what you've done.

Such a beautiful, sweet innocent baby ... I just want to cry. But then I think, maybe Kumpir is the lucky one - he got a second chance at happiness instead of living with someone who doesn't love him or care for him properly. I have to hope this is true. Otherwise I would cry.

p.s. One of my babies was returned to the breeder by a previous owner and the breeders were going to "get rid" of him. I took him gladly and love. He has problems with leaky, sometime swollen eyes. I took him to Ohio State where a veterinary ophthalmologist and his student gave him a thorough exam and recommended treatments. He still has the problem (incurable) but he is my little lover boy.

All I can say is WOW!!! how awful this person is :( The sweet little kitten. My 3rd cat, Jamieson, was the last foster kitten my daughter and I cared for. Sadly, his sister died, but we persevered, even giving him fluids through sub Q injections! He was so sick when we took him as a foster that he didn't even "meow" and anything we could get him to eat would come right back out. He was weak and dehydrated and melted my heart when I held him. He was a fighter and we didn't give up on him. Of course we adopted him. I just couldn't let him be adopted to anyone else, after all that. Jamie is now 6, the youngest of our 3 cats, we love him dearly, and he has a VERY full tummy now <3
