Michelle says: Ashley was the third sibling we took in from a litter of five kittens that had been dumped in a mailbox at a rural post office. Patrick and Emily were adopted together, Ashley went to a home where she will always be a princess!

"...dumped in a mailbox" I get a mental picture of kittens using mail as kitty litter and chew toys overnight.
"Dilute calico" is a scientific term for such a sweet face.
