Wendy [redux]

Michelle says: Wendy was rescued by a couple who found them in their backyard. The mom had abandoned her kittens so the couple took them in and cared for them until a cat-rescue volunteer brought them to us for fostering. While their three siblings did not make it, Wendy and her brother Casper thrived to become the cuddliest and snuggliest kittens! Wendy was a "momma's girl" and was always the first to rush to greet me. She adored her foster sibling, Annie.

Bless you all for making sure that Wendy and Casper thrived. it took me a long time to choose a favorite photo (finally had to just pick one, already!) but this one really speaks to me because it's as if she is showing off all of her beautiful markings. What a living doll!

Such great pictures... this one shows how fragile they can be. Hard to imagine that they can grow up to animals who can make you think an elefant is running through your house *lol*. Thank you for taking care of the babies :)

Great pics. Hard to pick one. Sometimes mother cats leave their kittens to go and hunt for food, or move them one kitten at a time to a new place. Always a good idea to observe for a while before deciding kittens are abanoned. But you did a great job raising these guys.

If that isn't the prettiest little calico kitty in the world, I don't know what is! Wendy is absolutely gorgeous. Lovely markings and a lovely story of survival and caring too. She's SO pretty! Loved every photo, hard to make a choice as to which was my favourite!
