Jaime says: I never usually like to pick favorites, but with Dublin… it was absolutely impossible. He was hands down one of my favorite fosters that I have ever had, so far. Named for the famous city in Ireland, he captured everyone's heart who met him. From the moment I first saw him and his adorable Precious Moments eyes, I was head-over-heels. So much so that I repeatedly debated adopting him myself. But as hard as it was, I knew I just couldn't afford another animal. He was just such a lovey little kitten. He loved everyone. My 15-pound Siamese cat was like his role model; he was fascinated with him. And my black Lab mix was like his and his siblings' own mother. She loved them like they were her own from the very beginning. The feeling was definitely mutual, too. However, kittens will be kittens, and Dublin was no exception when it came to being rambunctious! In fact, I sometimes think he may have been the most energetic of the litter, despite his cuddly side. He was just the perfect kitten in every way. He worked with you and seemed to always know what you wanted from him. "Oh, you want to cuddle and relax?....Okay." And off went his motor-purr. Then, if he realized you were in the mood to play, he never backed down from the challenge. He was truly amazing. Luckily, after a few days at the shelter, Dublin was adopted. I am jealous of his new owners, but I will absolutely never forget that little munchkin.

Oh my, I would have succumbed to Dublin's charm. Your resolve in allowing him to be adopted by someone else is amazing considering the wonderful qualities you describe of his character and these lovely photos. I hope his adoptive parents are as loving as you were with him.

undoubtably, he will be loved because as we all know, orange cats make the very best friends.
hey, does he have a cleft palate?

What a gorgeous little boy! I wish I could have him. Hope his new family cherishes this little bundle of love. In reply to jewely above, if he had a cleft palate the Vet would have picked up on it from the beginning. But yes it does look like it doesn't it.

Beautiful little buff kitty! I know how you feel about him. I had one who also captured my heart and I had to give him up for the same reason and I still miss him. But you gave him up because you loved him and wanted him to have the best life he could have..I know I did. I just wish I had been able to afford just one more...

Many cats have "eyeliner" that makes their beautiful eyes stnd out. Dublin does not and seems to be a very dilute marmalade. Almost ghostly. :)

If Dublin is that intuitive, maybe he could be a therapy cat. You can send him to me for my feline therapy any time!

Dublin is so cute and I love his inquisitive little face in this photo. Such a handsome light orange coat. So glad that he found a good home. It must be so difficult to foster catties as I would want to keep them all for sure!

Each picture is cuter than the one before it! Dublin has the best back-story I've read to this point. His new owners are lucky and so were you to have him for a little while. Please keep up your selfless good works in fostering these babies. Kudos to your other cats and dogs too for helping out!
