Nugget [redux]

Heather says: My husband and I took in a pregnant stray cat named Clousette, who had a litter of six kittens on June 27, 2009, in our master bathroom tub. She is a fabulous momma and seems to be raising great kittehs. All the kittens are litter-trained and eating solid food. We are looking to find them good indoor homes once they are old enough to be fixed and separated from their siblings, in about a week. They will all be fixed and current on shots before being adopted out. We are in the McDonough, Georgia, area just south of Atlanta, and are willing to travel up to a couple of hours but don't want the kittehs to have to be in a car for too long so prefer adoptions closer to our area.

Nugget is male. The owner of this unusual name was often confused with Brit when they were first born as their colors were very similar and we weren't used to picking out the couple of differences between them. Nugget has a bunch of gold tones in his coloring where Brit is more white. The gold tones are what lead me to pick his name out. It was odd, but the name seemed to suit him and stuck. Nugget is the ultimate 'momma's boy' and will always be found wandering around momma's feet. When he was smaller, he would be practically glued to momma nursing. If she moved or you took him away, he would cry for momma and she would come running to his side again. Fortunately, he seems to be becoming more independent in the last week or so and can be found all over the bedroom and bathroom area.
