Arisha [redux]

renidens says: My friend's Kurilian Bobtail cat gave birth to three beautiful kittens. This one is a girl named Arisha. Arisha is easily frightened and quite unsociable. She's also an awful glutton :) She still lives with my friend and his mom.

Arisha looks very windblown here! Like a runway model. Give her a chance to warm up to the food servers and she will figure things out. After two years my nonlap cat loved to warm himself along my leg--it was an honor.

I have a cat who puts on a face like this when she is playing - but she is very smoochy otherwise. I hope Arisha settles a little and becomes less scared and more friendly. She is very cute!

may i just say a feral kitten will grow up with a shyness of all but food. I know, as I once got hold of a feral kitten. within a day she knew where the food came from, and we were cat lover human lover

Freeze dried chicken treats. Let her sleep with you. Play with her as much as she wants to play! She will be fine, just has a little Bobcat vs. Domestic cat discrepancy inside. So sweet.

I have 3 cats and one of them is so attached to wet food that she nearly climbs the cabinet up onto the counter when I am preparing the plates! I affectionately call her "chowhound." Arisha is beautiful and hopefully well loved.

I do wish you had described her more thoughtfully. She is afraid & hungry, but she is a beautiful soul & will love her human companions in her own way. Hopefully she will learn to love those who love her.
