Mini Pearl

lovinkat: My colleague Laurel (the patron saint of South Bay LA felines) was feeding her neighbor Pearl's cats over Thanksgiving weekend and found a five-ish-week-old kitten crying in a closet! The neighbor's cats are all males so the thought is that one of them may have brought her in from outside. Anyway, she has stayed with Pearl and her family since then but the landlord found out and 'Mini Pearl' has to go. She's had her first vet visit and the doc thinks she's about 11-12 weeks. Mini Pearl is healthy and has had her first round of shots. She's a bit shy but she'd be great pet for someone who wants an affectionate cuddler!

UPDATE: Best news of all: Mini Pearl found a family already! I just dropped her off with them this morning (and cried the whole way there and back - she's the sweetest cat ever!).

(For you young'uns, Mini Pearl was a comedienne on the classic radio show Grand Ol' Opry. She always wore a hat w/the price tag dangling from the brim!)

I'm the foster mom that sent in the photos! This kitten was a little slice of heaven. I've never met a baby cat that loves to cuddle and purr as much as this one. She is uncommonly beautiful too; lovely markings and amber eyes. She's a treat in every way and I miss her so much.

Giovanna- you are so cute! I already have four cats and two are rather old and unfriendly. Mini Pearl would have been welcome to stay here forever, but I think she's better off where she is. Thank you for enjoying her photos so much! God bless you.
