Smoggy's Friends: Rupert, Parker, Belamy, Penny, Olive & Thomas [redux]

Catherine says: I began fostering kittens and cats for the Lort Smith Animal Hospital and Shelter in Melbourne, Australia, in late 2007 after the death of my beloved cat Smoggy, and in his honor. In February 2009, after fostering the first two litters of the year, I took a little break of one week. I must admit having quiet time was nice, but something indeed was missing, and having the pitter patter 24 little paws is just what the doctor ordered. When I opened this box I was hit with a wave of purrring… bliss! I eventually named them Parker, Belamy, Rupert, Penny, Olive, and Thomas.

Parker, the loner, grew into a gorgeous, slinky panther. Belamy became the fetch king (when it came to wads of paper). Rupert was the little rocket, first out from the opened doors. Penny was the little dynamo that was always the last to fall asleep. Olive and Thomas being the littliest stayed on for an extra week so I could fatten them up… they were both so small and adorable. All six were adopted and are now in their new homes. Every one was truly wonderful and I would highly recommend fostering six kittens at once. It was amazing!
