Ming's Babies: Marshall [redux]

Janaye says: Of all of Ming's kittens, Marshall is the antisocial boy in the group. He wants nothing to do with us unless it's feeding time. We haven't quite figured it out yet, since when he was really little he has always wanted more attention than the others. Then one day he didn't want anything to do with us. He still loves his siblings as well as Tiger and Tabitha, but not us. He does sleep by our feet from time to time though. I think he loves us, just in a different way than most cats. lol. In case you missed it, yes, Marshall is staying with us forever too.

Yes, I had a black kitty who was standoffish like this, but began to sleep along my thigh as he warmed up to me. I loved him so, in any case. I am only human. And I think he recognized this.

What a cute photo, but Marshall does not look so happy to have Timmy lying on his back. Marshall is a handsome black cattie, with white wisps of hair scattered about on his body. Glad that he has a forever home with you also!

Give this darling time. Give him "jackpot" foods or treats. Find out his favorite pets and strokes then start up a "physical therapy for socialization purposes" program.

He sure is a regal looking kitten! Black cats are special. I don't know why he is shunning you..maybe became frightened by something you innocently did that scared him. He will probably come around in time.
