Michael says: When a stray feral kitty carried her baby
Edgar onto my girlfriend's family's back porch, she also brought her other girl, affectionately called Ellen. Like Edgar, Ellen took sick for a while with an upper respiratory infection. But my girlfriend nursed her back to health and she recovered well. My girlfriend eventually came to live with me, but Ellen always stayed close to her family's yard and even had her own nest around a year later. She had five little kittens, although one didn't make it through the first night and the second died the third day. We found a new home for the third kitten and we personally adopted the last two. You'll meet them soon. ;-) Eventually we contacted the Felix Project who came and did trap, neuter, and release on all the stray cats in the neighborhood, so there will be no more kittens for Ellen.
