Diablilla [redux]

Pieter and Renée say: We are the owners of Titran's Cattery. We have bred Norwegian Forest cats since 2000, first in Brussels, Belgium, until 2006, and now in a small village in the southern part of the Netherlands. Our breeding goal has been and will always be to breed very healthy and social Norwegian forest cats who are as close as possible to the breed's standard. So for us no elegant, thin-boned NFOs with a brushed and shampooed look, but rather the wild, robust, and heavy-boned cat with the typical wild look. As we like to put it: a Norwegian Forest cat should be looking as if he had come out of the woods that same morning. ;-)

This litter of six kittens was born in January to mom Titran's Olga Knipper and dad Elliasz. All the names mean the same in different languages: Little Devil. ;-) The reason of that is that Olga had gone to a new owner, Edlyn Gribble, last year and Edlyn renamed her Teufelchen.... "little devil" in German. When Edlyn passed away last year in October, Olga came back to us ... and this litter is a very special one to us as it was Edlyn who made the plan of the mating between Elliasz and Olga. Thus when we had to find names for these six kittens, I got the idea of calling them all Teufelchen but in different languages. ;-)

Diablilla's color is called blue and white. She will be moving next Saturday to Germany where she will hopefully become a succesful breeding queen and show cat. She has the perfect temper for a show cat: very curious, self-confident, and rather full of mischief, but very sociable and sweet-purring on the other side. She's always very close to you, and when you're reading a book or looking at TV you can be sure after a few minutes she will join you and have a nap on your lap. A very easygoing girl!
