Michelle says: Wendy was rescued by a couple who found them in their backyard. The mom had abandoned her kittens so the couple took them in and cared for them until a cat-rescue volunteer brought them to us for fostering. While their three siblings did not make it, Wendy and her brother Casper thrived to become the cuddliest and snuggliest kittens! Wendy was a "momma's girl" and was always the first to rush to greet me. She adored her foster sibling, Annie.

This is the way the poor wee ones look when we get them to foster. Michelle said 3 didn't make it. Sadly that happens way to often. Sometimes no matter how hard you try you loose them to what is known as "fading kitten syndrome" and it is heartbreaking. Being a foster mommy is full of joy and happiness and heartbreak. Been there many times and will do it again because if no one does it they all die.
