Junebug [3]

Jill says: Junebug came to our home about a week after Mabel. She was a stray from a small town outside our city. She was found all by herself and her face was all cut up. The person that brought her in didn't know what had happened to her but knew that she needed help and a loving home. Her nose was all cut, her upper lip had a big piece out of it, and she had a bald spot on her head. The poor little girl definitely needed some love. Junebug and Mabel quickly became good friends and occasionally would cuddle up with each other. Junebug was quiet and shy but loved to be around to watch when something was going on. She was a great lap cat and has such a sweet personality. She and Mabel would wrestle and entertain themselves for hours! The best kitten toy is... another kitten!

Junebug is now back at the Fredericton SPCA shelter and is looking for a loving home. We hope she finds one soon!

This was 16 years ago! This dear kitty could be on the rainbow bridge, rather than in a forever home. Anyway, she is an adorable calico girl. We never know the full back stories of many of these rescues.

Finally Junebug can relax, she is so cute, and it looks like you took exceptional care of her Jill.Junebug looks all healed up and she is just adorable looking. I hope that she finds a loving and patient owner in a new home soon.

She is so pretty! I can't imagine anyone cruel enough to hurt one of God's blessed creatures. At least she survived and is living a wonderful life! I wish I had her. >^..^<

She was a lovely kitten and whoever did that should be ashamed. I can never figure out why people do these things but then there are the great people that save them! God bless!

#kibblegirl--if you use the google search on this site, Junebug first appeared in 2009. And I am not sure whether Jill Hudgins is still fostering or posting, since her Flickr page is down. It is also possible that our darling Junebug injured herself escaping from a car or something. I am beginning to wonder the meaning of my attachment to these ancient kitties on GMK, especially since I have the most wonderful kitty in my life. And the handsomest too.

To me, that looks like a car injury. A cat will get that kind of scraped face from tangling with the fan blade or the belt on older cars, and if this was 16 years ago, it was an older car. I grew up on a farm and I saw this happen to several kitties with that same kind of injury.
