Candi says: When we lost our first cat, Blueberry, we felt like we should adopt a tabby. We visited several and for some reason or another nothing worked out. One day at church my cousin approached me with, "Would you like a kitten?" as her cat had just given birth. There was one tabby but she'd wanted to keep him, as he looked just like his namesake, his uncle who'd died too young. But as the kittens grew bigger, something told her that he was meant to be ours! When we brought home our little tabby, we knew he was special. Jack Jack has a purity about him like no other cat I've ever met. And I swear he's my angel in stripes! If I am ever sad, he's there before the first tear is shed. If his furry siblings are sick, he watches over them until they are better. His love is pure and always accepts the otherwise unaccepted. Jack Jack is much bigger now, but still watches over me while I sleep, waking me each morning with purrs and chin nibbles. He adores his siblings and especially loves to snuggle with his newest little striped brother. He's my doll baby.
