Gerald says: This little boy is an F1 Savannah bred from an African serval to an F1 Savannah female. He is super sweet and now living with a professional hockey player.

What a handsome young man! Precious face and amazing markings. My kitties and I are huge hockey fans, so there's a very good possibility we have watched his daddy play!

An F1? Really? Bet that hockey player doesn't keep him very long. Most hybrid breeds aren't desirable as pets until at least F3, preferably F4, and even then they're still pretty rambunctious. Savannas and Bengals are beautiful, but the generations before the "desired" F4 are usually "wasted" - too wild to keep as a pet, but not designed for the feral life, either.

I totally agree with Nefenjo on this one. I looked into them because they are gorgeous and F1 is one step out of the jungle. Why can't we humans leave creating life up to God? I feel sorry for the hockey player and the poor cat who is a misfit either way......

he is beautiful, but the people who think they need a exotic pet are so wrong. i hope this boy is well taken care and has the room he needs to be his wild self. continuing the practice of breeding wild cats from tigers to these savannahs.
