Sherry says: We adopted a stray kitty -- or rather she adopted us -- who just happened to be pregnant. We named her Abby and have become quite attached to her. Abby had five kittens, three orange-and-white females, one orange-and-white male, and one champagne male. We found wonderful homes for four of the little cuties and had to keep the champagne-colored male for ourselves because he's just too adorable. We named him Cotton because his fur is so long and silky soft. Also as a very young kitten he was almost as white as cotton. Cotton has a lot of personality and is really a fun kitty to have in the house. He loves to play and he can make a cat toy out of anything. He also loves to go 'dumpster diving' which means he will knock over any trash can around to see if there's anything in there he can play with. Toilet paper rolls, wadded up strips of paper, box lids, or tear-off strips from any type of packaging will provide Mr. Cotton with hours of playtime. He also likes the various mouse toys we purchased for him before we discovered that we didn't need to actually buy him toys. Most of all he LOVES catnip and will try to steal any we give to the three other cats in the house. Cotton is a very loving kitty who spends a lot of time with his mother, Abby, but will also cuddle with the humans in his life. He is so funny to watch when he is in 'play mode' and he just keeps us laughing. We have all enjoyed having him in the house because he is such a joy.
