Farm Kitten in Romania

Lucia says: I had met this guy's mother last year, at a friend's country house. This year, she gave birth to this one and two siblings, one of which I got to see. You can hardly tell them apart and they were half-feral. It took me about five minutes of sneaking around to get the close-ups. This is generally how things are in our country. People are not what you would call "pet aware," and when it comes to those in the countryside, they're the worst, so there are a lot of stray or feral felines. We hope that one day things will change, preferably into better.

They look really well cared for - and although in Romania people are not "pet aware" much - at least they always feed animals and sometime they look after feral or stray cats or dogs - unfortunately it's also much of the governement's fault for not creating possibilities for these strays to be taken into and re-homed. Hopefully things will improve in time I have faith.... Ro has come a long way since 1989, but there are so many things that will need re-adjusting!!!

Cute little things and if I were there at the farm will most certainly have adopted them by now. My tom comes from a farm in UK though and he's been taken by mistake as it was believed he was homeless.

It makes me very sad to see these kittens on here that have no homes. Unfortunately the babies we have at our homes are the lucky ones and a very small part of the population.
All these homeless kitties that just deserve a warm lap and a nice bowl of food.

He's so sweet yet he looks scared like he can't trust anyone just to bad more people can't show their love like you did. He is a very lucky kitty and beautiful too.
