Michelle says: Did I mention that when Andy came to us he came with a sister? She was in just as bad shape, but like Andy, with a lot of TLC she eventually recovered. We called her Lola, but we nicknamed the pair of them "the slippers" because they looked like a pair of little fluffy black slippers you'd wear around the house. They were too sweet and adorable... and they were adopted together. What a couple of cuties.

These two fluffies are absolutely adorable. They both look like they have milk in their whiskers and on their chests. I am so glad that they got adopted together. That is always the best way to go for the catties.

We had two Siamese cross cats that we called the slippers, as well. When they ate, Howie always had to be on the right side and Needles on the left side, so we nicknamed them Right Slipper and Left Slipper. Unfortunately, our beautiful Left Slipper died this winter of unknown causes at the age of 4. We miss him terribly, as does the Right Slipper.
