We adopted Comet when he was only six months old. We had been looking for a cat after our other cat, Spooky passed away. We visited the SPCA and right away we knew this adorable big blue-eyed cat was for us. At the time, the SPCA had named him Creamsicle. The SPCA had told us Comet was a girl at first! When we first wanted to adopt him, he was very sick. We had to wait about a month before we could even take him home. So, on February 14th, Valentine's Day, we took Comet home, but not for adoption. Since Comet was still sick when we took him home we had to "foster" him while he was getting better. When we was finally better a few months later we went back to the shelter and adopted him. Now he is our big fluffy and very friendly and lovable red point birman cat. He is always wanting to be pet and is constantly purring and we love him so much.
