mellen says: At 5 months old, Teddy had already been in one animal control, rescued by the humane society (who named him Rex), adopted (with his brother T-Bone), then a few month later loaded into a truck to be surrendered to a different animal control but wasn't in the truck when they got there (!), found his way home a week later, and then again surrendered to the pound (where he was named Mr. Whiskers), and finally adopted by me! He was sick and absolutely covered in fleas, so obviously his "owners" hadn't been taking very good care of him! Fortunately, at 9 months old he's happy and healthy and going to be a big, big Teddy Bear!
