Mushkin ("Mush" rhymes with "bush")

wjoseph says: Little Mushkin was a rescue kitty from a litter of nine. Just weaned, he was so shy he would "mush" (rhymes with "push") himself back into a corner, but he became very affectionate and would snuggle up to me in a little ball of warmth. Sadly, he developed Feline Infectious Peritonitis, (FIP), which is always fatal. He went downhill very quickly, and we put him down at the vet's a month after this picture was taken. I told him St. Francis was gong to look after him now, and held his little head until the end, looking into his eyes till he could see no more.

I am so sorry for your loss. It breaks my heart every time I hear a cat die of FIP. It is such a horrible sickness. I wish they found a cure.

reminiscing my outdoor cat "White leg", cat he was so brave who fought snakes and the only drawback, after he killed the snake, he's trying to bring the dead snake inside our house.. hahah
