PoppyRoo says: Mozy was a beautiful little soul and ball of energy I rescued from the streets of Guatemala. I was very privileged to share my time with her for as long as we could. I miss her all the time and hope that wherever she may be now, she is peaceful and in paradise. These pictures are all I have left of her. She will be missed.

What an adorable little girl! it must have been just heartbreaking to have to leave her. I couldn't choose a favorite picture o I finally had to settle on one of her with her best friend. :-)

Your story is really sad... You should have done like me and adopted her :) I have a stray from the streets of NYC, one found on a freeway in CO, and the one in my photo is from Buenos Aires.

@POPPYROO I don't understand. Did Mozy die? There are photos of her as a young adult, but you say you hope she is in paradise. I don't think you left her.

Hello everyone, thanks for the lovely comments, Mozy was a rescue, I rescued her from the streets, in Guatemala when I lived and worked in the Highlands. Mozy was a brilliant cat, she adored playing outside in paradise, she also liked to play in the hammock and she even hunted scorpions and left them by the food bowl. She had a happy life but yes she got lost or something tragic happened to her, I shall never know, one day she just disappeared, it is very sad but I was lucky to have spent the time I did with her. She was four years old. Thanks again for all the lovely comments, its nice to honor her memory like this. =)

Very sad story! Maybe if Mozy had been kept inside she would not have disappeared, or gotten sick. (scorpions give nasty bites) She looks like a petite princess here.
Sorry about your loss, but she had a good life with you for awhile.

How wonderful she had a time in her life when she was obviously loved and cared for. How sad she disappeared and you don't know what happened.
In the first photo with the dog, she looks like a little dinosaur! Mozy is gorgeous and in this shot she looks a lot like my much-loved cat Smooch.
