Eva says: I'm a volunteer photographer/foster mom/all-around supporter for several shelters and rescues in New York, including City Critters and K9Kastle Rescue. Grant was one of my foster babies. He loved to sit in the window and watch my cats, especially Zlotko, who are allowed out onto the fire escape. He was just at the point where he was going to try any and everything to get out there and join them when he was adopted to a forever home. Unfortunately, he was returned when he developed ringworm. But then he was adopted again by a different family and now everyone is very happy.

What a stunning little boy! How in the world can anyone return an animal for any reason, much less ringworm?! I'd hate to think what they'd do to their kids if they came down with, say, Athlete's Foot. I heart Grant!

What a darling! Glad everything finally worked out. (Ringworm is contagious but treatable, as I know. My Benny had it on his nose.) Grant was such a perfect grey kitty.

Such a pretty kitten although I must admit he looks like my Crinkle who was one of my foster kittens that I kept. I am glad Grant finally found a furever home.

They returned him because he got ringworm? Good heavens, I hope none of the humans in that family ever get a treatable infection - they'll probably put them up for adoption! Grant is adorable - obviously that home wasn't the right one for him and I am so glad he now has a home where people REALLY love him. He's gorgeous.

Grant is so handsome. I would be terrified if my catties were out on a fire escape. Are you not afraid that they might slip through the bars and fall?????
I am glad that Grant has a new home and is happy.

Why would someone return him because of ringworm??? For Christmas sake....it doesn't matter as long as he gets treated! Well, I'm glad he found hopefully a forever home now.

@mrcatman, LOL! Glad to know the boy with ringworm was not sent back! Family that returned Grant for something like ringworm simply did not deserve him!

What a gorgeous boy! Hopefully the first family will realize that pets are not toys & they need care...
