The Scooby Gang: Velma [redux]

Michelle says: The Scooby gang were rescued from the local shelter along with their very young mom, India. She wasn't nursing them and her milk had dried up, so a volunteer took them from the shelter with their mom, and two of us foster caregivers took two each to bottle-feed. Then I took all four back for a few weeks to get them completely weaned. Juliet, another foster cat, quickly adopted the babies and cared for them as though they were here own babies. And the kittens totally loved her! All of them were eventually adopted.

Velma is my fave of the gang! She looks like an old-fashioned kitten of the type seen on tapestries and Victorian era art. She also looks like a smart girl with such pretty silver frosted gray fur. I'm sure somebody is loving her very much now:)

Not only do I love Velma, she is playing with that famous ball. In our house, it is Benny's favorite toy. It regularly disappears because it fits under every piece of furniture. Even though I buy them by the half dozen when I can, they go missing and they are so hard to get from the pet stores now. As for Velma, she is such a darling and I hope she is very happy.
