lovinkat says: This is Orange Julius. He joined our three-cat family a while back when a colleague told me that her niece's cat had kittens and wanted to know if I'd like one. I said that I wasn't interested unless there was a fuzzy orange one. Of course there was a fuzzy orange one! Julius is a very busy cat who pursues his two main interests all day long: hunting and eating. Thankfully, he rarely eats what he hunts but that hasn't stopped him from bringing in a lot of yard fauna, much of it still alive. So far there have been many mice, birds, and lizards. Unfortunately there have been a couple of rats and one big dead crow too. The crow was lovingly placed in the hall right square in front of my bedroom door so it would be the first thing I'd see when I got up in the morning. Such a thoughtful cat!
The video made me laugh out loud! Why not give Julius a separate bowl outside the bathroom? He is wonderful. And if I did that to Benny--pushing him away-- he would be annoyed enough to fake bite me--some cats lack the share gene!
How fun to check Good Morning Kitten today and see my very own Julius!
He's still a mischief-maker, but since we've built a "catio" he no longer gets out of the yard to hunt. The catio is an outdoor enclosure that lets he - and his 2 feline buddies - sun themselves, climb, run and play outside.
Now that he's a few years older, he's got a gorgeous ruff around his neck, and a fluffy tail and pantaloons too.
He's still a bit grabby about the other cat's food. Now they all eat in separate rooms under my watchful eye. There's the occasional grab, or better yet, flick of the wrist to get more food.
That's his new technique. He doesn't need to get his face in the bowl if he can just flick out a piece with his fuzzy paw!

He looks like my Girl - she had two brothers and the three were like triplets. He is simply wonderful. Many happy years with your babies
Julius is soooo cute. Loved the video. of him stealing the food dish. I have to sit with my tortie girl cattie so her big brother Tony, also a ginger tabby, does not steal her food. Cute photos!
Adorable Julius! I hope you have decided to keep him inside where he will be safe and can no longer bring you nasty gifts that could also make him sick.
