Santo [3]

My husband is a baseball fan; he named his orange-and-white cat Ozzie after Ozzie Smith. So keeping with that theme, we named our new kitten Santo after Ron Santo of the Chicago Cubs, who had a famous run-in with a black cat during his career. Ozzie used to live in a house full of cats at my in-laws', but came to live with us when we got our own place. He seemed lonely to me being the only animal in the house, and I had been thinking of getting a kitten to keep him company, so I was eager to take care of Pepper's kitten. Ozzie and Santo didn't get along at first, but they're getting along better now. Santo loves chasing Ozzie's tail as well as attacking our feet! His favorite toys are his scratching post, shoelaces, and socks. He'll even climb up the scratching post and balance on top of it. Most of the time, he's wound up and hyper, but he always manages to fall asleep in my lap when I'm on the computer.
