At the moment we have six Sphynx cats. Electra, a chocolate tabby with light blue-green eyes, and Max, a creme-coloured mackerel tabby had a litter of three kittens last year. We named them Mulay, Sunitha, and Aaron. We kept Mulay and Sunitha, and Aaron is living happily in the Basque country with Wendy (we bought Max and his brother from her). She wanted to have a kitten from Max because her expartner stayed with all the cats. Aaron has company of a female Sphynx and both are sterilized. He is four and a half kilos now and is a kind animal.
We are members of the CFA and the Spanish one ASFE and all our cats have pedigree. To be a member you need a cattery name. So officially we are a cattery. We had only two litters untill now. Max and Electra are sterilized now so no litters for the moment. In the future we will look for a male for Sunitha or one of our other girls, Aminah. It's very time consuming and I don't like the idea of breeding just to sell. Beside that it comes more to breeding than the eye can see. I do believe there are enough backyard breeders. We haven't gone to any expositions (isn't that like beauty competitions like Miss World and so on?) but maybe one day we will with a less stressful agenda.
