FURgie has lived with us in New Jersey since then and has become our little baby. She has to sleep with us, run around behind us everywhere (she runs like a horse), pounce on our toes, lick our faces and hands, and fall asleep with one paw touching one of us. But she sometimes likes to bite if you do something that really worries her. Two weeks ago FURgie moved with me to the Washington, DC, area and has really missed her mom (my wife), but she sees her on the weekends when she sleeps on her mom's chest all night long, forgetting that I even exist. My wife will finally be moving in with us during Christmas so FURgie will be 100% happy again.
FURgie has been the best thing that has happened to my wife and me so far and we can't imagine living without this little kitty, who drinks water by dipping her paw in her water bowl followed by licking of the water from her paw. She has great character and has matured into a beautiful young cat. She has inspired us to write a children's book called "FURgie the Cat" sometime soon. For now she has her very own blog.
