Bella and KiKi [5]

Ian says: We adopted siblings Bella and KiKi last August. At the time they were living in a chicken coop with their brothers and sisters and about four or five chickens. Bella was the runt of the litter and a little hesitant to move into her new house, but has come into her own and is now a real princess. She might be small in stature but has no problem holding her own against her bigger and stronger brother, often sending him running for cover. She is also a real suck-up who loves the attention but is just as happy to lie around and sleep in one of her many hiding spots. KiKi is the exact opposite of his sister Bella. For one, he is obviously a male, although at first we were under the impression he was a girl. What a surprise! Secondly, though Bella is the runt of the litter, KiKi is far from it and is most definitely the dominant male, at times pushing his sister out of the way when it's dinner time. Although a large boy (14 lbs at ten months old), KiKi is a bit of a scaredy cat and will often retreat from his much smaller sister during their many wrestling matches. On the inside, KiKi and Bella are real sweethearts who know they're all that, big time. When they aren't fighting, they are best buddies.
