Betsy says: From the start, it was clear that Christopher was the "leader of the pack" so to speak. He was always the first out of the crate in the morning and had no fear of exploring new territory. He was also extremely intelligent and quite funny, and he had a habit of climbing up on my husband's tummy for a leisurely after-supper nap. We were thrilled when Christopher and Ebony were adopted together last September. However, they were both apparently quite traumatized by the adopting family's young children and the family returned them to us in March. Christopher's story has a happy ending though. He was adopted for the second time two weeks ago.

When it is a choice between toddlers and kittens, I actually choose the kittens. In fact, one of my grandsons was barred from my home till he reached the age of reason after chasing my little Benny. #Martiki's comment was great.

Natthecat I agree with you! Kittens are not stuffed toys for kids to kick around. Teach them to love and respect animals before you get any. And shelters need to question parents on how they expect their kids to treat animals before letting the kitten go!

I just realized this is a closeup of Chris in the photo of all the knocked-out furbies! Just a sweetheart wth his white belly. Gently hug this tabby.

Christopher you have a darling face. I am sad that you and Ebony were traumatized. Thank the good Lord that you and Ebony are in loving homes. Love and hugs sweetie.
