Mugs says: Cassidy is part of the growing pet population in our home, with a large dog, small stray dog, four stray kittens, two stray cats, and a pond full of fat fish. Cassidy is from a litter of four, from the original mama kitty Chloe. Chloe was a stray rescued from the streets. A month after they were born, we figured that three of them were male. Cassidy we had no clue; even the vets could not figure out if it was male or female. So we assumed she was a female and my wife named her Cassidy. And after a while -- boom -- she had extra parts popping out and "she" turned out to be "he"! But by then it was too late to rename her. So we let her stick with the name and we even still refer to him as a "her." Cassidy is accident prone. First, she fell off the first floor directly into our pond and survived. Second, she was run over and she survived. Third, she was bitten by a centipede and was poisoned, but with many visits to the vet and pumped with medicine she survived. Phew! Now her only goal in life is to wait for me to get home and give her a share of Whiskers. No matter where she is in the house, the minute my bike pulls up she is there in a flash with the other three chaps.
