Jay says: Daisy was a stray cat who brought four of her babies to the back door of the house. We started to feed them every day. We named the little tabby Tiger, Jr., because he was very well marked with tiger-like stripes. We fed Tiger, Jr., his mom, and his three siblings for a few months before they slowly went their own ways.

Yes, it is sad but true that some do more and many do less about kitty strays. Tiger jr and his beautifully ticked coat is preserved in these photos. All kitties were well-fed before they went their ways.

Nearly 5,000 cool photos of birds on Flickr--really exquisite stuff, by Jay D. Worth a good look. Top quality. Like National Geographic perfection.

nice little boy. wish they could have all been spayed/neutered so mama and babies would not add to population. babies could have been adopted perhaps. thanks for the care you did give them first

This story tugged at my heart. I had a striped kitty named Tiger long ago. Miss her so much she was very sweet and kind to cats and dogs. Love you Tiger.

I am glad you fed them all. I do wish they had all been trapped and been spay/neutered before they left. This queen can produce up to 3 or 4 litters a year all of which have to fight to live.....

I thank you Jay for your service to this family. Every little bit helps in the struggle for life.
I do agree though that it was a missed opportunity to make a difference with respect to the stray and feral populations. This is but an observation.
Again, thank you for your kindness.
