Two Little Foster Kittens [5]

matiescat says: These two were part of a litter of four kittens found on the grounds at my place of work. Two kittens were immediately adopted by co-workers, but these two remained. As everybody knows me as a cat foster mommy and kitten nurse, I was called in for assistance. I must say that we were lucky - they were not in a bad way at all when we found them as their real cat mommy obviously looked after them very well. I have fostered and raised many kittens, but have not yet come across two kittens so devoted to each other.

They are extremely brave and very spunky little critters. And, like most kittens, they have boundless energy -- they play all day long. And of course they think this is just cat heaven with them having my ten permanent resident cats to play with! The little girl is the more adventurous one, but also interestingly the one who hates being alone. She has to either be in presence of her brother (preferably) or with us. The little boy is a sweetheart who loves physical attention, and loves his food!!

I was not prepared to home them separately, and was very fortunate to find a loving new forever home for them together in Cape Town. They will be going there tomorrow. I will of course be sad to see them go but happy in the knowledge that they will be well cared for and loved.
