MyNameIsNotRachel says: This little kitten showed up on my co-worker's front porch and by the following afternoon he and his daughter Sophia had brought it over to my house. We're calling it Sophia's Kitten because 1) I don't know if this is a boy kitten or a girl kitten (I estimate it is only about 4-5 weeks old), and 2) to convince Sophia's dad that the kitten really should stay with them! I have a 14-year-old Siamese/tabby mix and a 9-year-old black cat and definitely do not need another cat right now. My co-worker also has two cats, but also two children, so that's how I ended up with Sophia's Kitten. I plan to foster it until I find it a forever home. The kitten is very happy, outgoing, curious, and affectionate. It purrs like crazy and it constantly "kneading" with its front paws (I suspect it is looking to nurse on something and so I need to ask my vet about supplements for it). It is just so teeny-tiny and adorable and I know it will make a great pet to a deserving home! So if you live anywhere near Atlanta and are looking for a kitten, please let me know!

She surely looks bright eyed and energetic. She is a fine baby and will make someone a wonderful fur kid. Hope she finds the most loving home ever:$

You now have another cat. Really, there is always room for one more. And you have been chosen, so your plans are meaningless. You could sue your coworker, but why? Give this little one a proper name, maybe Rachel or Ricky and move on.

Aw, if I didn't live so far away (I live in the 6ix), I would snap up this precious darling in a heartbeat. But I have to agree with Natthecat: you have been chosen, so choose a unisex name for this sweet fur-bundle, and enjoy!!

LOL - I originally posted this nearly five years ago! The "kitten" is named Sandor (pronounced shon-door) - it's a Hungarian name that translates to Alexander. He now weighs somewhere in the neighborhood of 15 pounds! He is still a very sweet, loving kitty :)

Sadly I'm nowhere near Atlanta anymore, But I think you should keep the little doll in any event.
My first clue was sitting on your left shoulder in one of the above photos.
Don't let yourself loose seeing that face every day.
