Karen says: At the same time that I rescued Misty Gray by buying her for $5 from a woman who was selling kittens at a county fair, I also bought Ginger. He was covered with white paint (which I had to cut off with tiny scissors) and like Misty he had really bad upper respiratory infection. After a vet bill and two weeks of TLC, he was much better. Ginger is now my mom's pet. He sits on her lap and sucks on her hand -- I think it's left over from his lost kittenhood. He looks like a wise old man kitty and he has such a sweet personality.

What was wrong with that woman to be selling a kitten covered with white paint. Poor little kitty man:( Again, I thank you for rescuing him and nursing him back to health. So glad your mom got him where he can be loved and taken good care of. Such an innocent expression in so many photos despite his mean beginning. He looks like the sweetest little guy:)

Thanks for this update and #katzenmother said it perfectly. I am so happy both of these kitties made it.And since I rarely forget a face, that woman selling these cats should never cross my path. I would make her day.
