Pebbel [5]

Jan says: After the deaths of our three old cats, we decided to get two kittens to replace them. Together with 15-year-old Sheba, they were to form our new threesome. On the Internet we found a local litter and at once fell in love with two of them, one a lovely little calico girl we named Pebbel.

Pebbel is our lazy one. In the beginning we thought she'd be the ring leader, but that wasn't true. She is the most human-oriented cat we have. When we are sitting on the couch she will always hop onto our laps and stay there for quite a while. For some reason she always tries to catch the point of her tail and suck it vehemently and passionately. She is also most focused on food, so we have started calling her Fatso lately.

Even though she will be the first to come back in, she still loves being outside. She will spend hours on one of the brick posts in our fence, watching passers-by from a safe distance. When there's a bird in sight she starts chattering very loud, but she's a lousy hunter. Too much work I guess.
