Erin says: Diesel is a 13-week-old girl who is about the size of an eight-week-old kitten. She was born a barn cat, and was nearly starved from having to compete with the adult cats and three other kittens for food. I took her from the barn when the resident tom started to beat her up, and she was not getting anywhere near enough food. Her tail curls up over her back like a husky, and I think the big guy may have broken it at one point when he was picking on her.

She purrs like a semi truck when she is happy and has just learned how to play. Before, she had no clue! She lives with me and my three parrots, who she likes to watch but knows better than to mess with. Smart as a whip, she got the litter box in one day and has never made a mistake. She has proven that she was supposed to be a housecat! Right now she is sleeping on her back in my lap, purring. If I moved now, she would cry. She is a lover, not a fighter!

So glad she was rescued from the barn situation where she could grow up in a loving home and be spoiled as she deserves. At the barn they need a new more gentle Tom cat as he is too damned mean. Am wondering how this cute little dolly got the name of Diesel. Am relieved she is now living the life that all kitties deserve:)

Diesel looks like a David Letterman cat. Thank you for saving her. I hope she gets over the rough experience at the barn quickly and lives with you happily ever after. I always love those black beauties.

1 of my black cats went over the rainbow Bridge yesterday. So fast. She was fine Sunday and now she has passed. Love Diesel! You will never know when you will lose him. I loved my Bella. Raised her from before her eyes were even open....

Oh, #judymac812. So sorry to learn about your Bella. You are such a loving person and I
see how much it hurts to lose this companion. Your advice is spot on. Love is the answer. We are never given advance warning that the time is over..

I loved this little one the instant my newly cataract free eyes focused on her. She is a quiet star and as you put it Erin,"A Lover"
And #Judymack812 I know how you are feeling as do the rest of this crew. I've been through it five times, and
truthfully, it never gets easier
No Cat can ever "replace" another one any more than People.
What they can do though is give you another precious life to live and love with. You will see her again .

Stonewall hope you recover quickly and glad that surgery is behind you.

Judy I am so sorry about the loss of your fur baby Bella. No it never gets any easier losing them. Along with the grief, celebrate the love and happiness you shared together. And indeed, whatever you love enjoy it to the fullest each day and let them know how much you care. Always good to be reminded of this. Hugs to you kiddo:)
