Catherine says: I began fostering kittens and cats for the Lort Smith Animal Hospital and Shelter in Melbourne, Australia, after the death of my beloved cat Smoggy, and in his honor.

My fourth session for foster kittens for the year consisted of just two kittens, Victor (on the right) and Cleopatra. What little sweeties these two were! unrelated but acted like any other siblings, loving and hating each other… at the same time! ;) Victor was a very sick little guy when he arrived but grew into a gorgeous and healthy young man. Cleo wasn't too sick initially but got really bad and hated taking her medication. And I do mean the worst case of "I ain't taking that stuff" I have ever seen! But she got better with loads of love and some hardcore drugs and was eventually back to her glamourous self. Both were adopted into separate but loving homes.

#Catherine, you had some hard times with these two but they came through! And you went on to foster more. Always love to see your postings.

Yes! Two more munchkins saved to continue dishing out love and laughter. Ever have one climb from the cuff of your jeans to the collar of your shirt with those tiny legs?
Then settle in with their head up against the artery in your neck, and start purring like an engine gone crazy?
There is nothing else like it .!
What angels they are!
