Betsy says: Ebony was named for her nearly solid black nose, in order to distinguish her from her sister
Ivory, whose nose was nearly solid white. Ebony seemed to have a perpetual smile on her face, which I just adored. She was adopted by a family in September, but apparently was quite traumatized by the adopting family's two young children. Sadly, in late March, the family returned her to us. After being back with us for a week, she had calmed down considerably and was back to being the loving kitten we'd so carefully raised. Ebony is in the care of a new foster family for the time being, but we are confident she will find a forever home soon.
