Betsy says: Ebony was named for her nearly solid black nose, in order to distinguish her from her sister Ivory, whose nose was nearly solid white. Ebony seemed to have a perpetual smile on her face, which I just adored. She was adopted by a family in September, but apparently was quite traumatized by the adopting family's two young children. Sadly, in late March, the family returned her to us. After being back with us for a week, she had calmed down considerably and was back to being the loving kitten we'd so carefully raised. Ebony is in the care of a new foster family for the time being, but we are confident she will find a forever home soon.

Such a pretty girl with a sweet soul. Poor baby didn’t need to be traumatized by kids no less. So glad she was returned and is doing better again. This is why I won’t let my cats have kittens. I would be too worried how the kittens were going to be treated. It’s not like they can phone home:(

Ebony, by her nose, to distinguish her from her sibling Ivory. Just another cutie, but she was upset by first adoptors' children and is so far awaiting another adoption. Hope to learn good news.

Ebony surely is a beauty! I fostered for over 20 years and would still be fostering if not disabled and once I returned the kittens to my vet even though they were very careful who they allowed to adopt, one never knows how they will be treated and I worry about all the kittens I fosrered.

I pray Ebony found a new home with no children. She deserves to have a peaceful home with quiet people who will look after her. She looks like a little angel.

Actually, it would be nice if people taught their little monsters, er..."children" how to respect animals.

What a sweet, sweet baby! I wish I could adopt her. I’d take such good care of her. I love her colors and patterns so much, and want to very gently boop her nose.
