Jill says: I adopted my kittens from a friend of a friend who takes in and spays/neuters strays. One of her fosters happened to be pregnant and gave birth to six kittens. We took in two of them. Daisy is the tortie and Star is the tabby. Daisy doesn't meow, she chirps. Star squeaks. Daisy is really confident and moves around smoothly. She's the first one to explore new things. She sleeps with her mouth open and sometimes with her tongue out. Star is more clumsy and kind of a follower. She needs to have someone around constantly; if she can't find her sister or a person, she will mew until someone comes and rescues her. They are inseparable. Both of them love their scratching post and don't neglect a single toy. Their favorite hiding spots are inside the couch recliners and in between mattresses on the day bed. I work from home and they LOVE to run across or sit on my laptop, which does not help with productivity. ;) They are also lap-cats and like to be on top of a human even when they are fighting each other. They fight constantly but then crash and sleep on top of each other. And they sleep through the entire night on the bed. We're thankful to have them. We think they were meant to be!
