Kate says: My husband Jason and I were asked to foster four young kittens for the animal rescue group at which we have volunteered for six years, the Ohio Alleycat Resource and Spay/Neuter Clinic (OAR). The kittens were so tiny that we had to feed them milk supplement and slowly integrate food into their diet. Jason and I were very excited that we got to name the kittens and we selected an '80s cartoon theme. This little girl was named Jem after Jem of the Holograms. She was tiny and very independent. She would always rather play and run than be held. We fostered all of the kittens until they were old enough to go back to the rescue, where they had a better chance at adoption. Jem was adopted very quickly.

Jem looks like a fashion model in this shot. She has lovely marking and I am sure she was adopted right away.
