Jay says: Daisy was a stray cat who brought four of her babies to the back door of the house. We started to feed them every day. We named the little tabby Tiger, Jr., because he was very well marked with tiger-like stripes. We fed Tiger, Jr., his mom, and his three siblings for a few months before they slowly went their own ways.

Dear little ferals, all of them. Secretly, I read that 40% of people (in America, I guess) feed stray cats. I doubt that any take the next step of TNR--it's expensive and trouble.

They are so beautiful! What a great job on taking care of them. It's a shame that they couldn't have been neutered/spayed. There are alot of organizations that do it for free! I just fostered (and eventually adopted) a little guy that looks just like Tiger, Jr. Poor little one! I wish them all well...and hope they are safe.

I agree on spaying or nuturing as many ferals as possible and some organization do it for a small donation or FREE if you can't afford the donation, maybe your veterinarian can supply information.But you did very Super good on feeding this little family for as long as needed. Kudos to you.

I agree, while feeding is good, you would have been better off having all of them (including mom) spayed or neutered and then trying to find them homes. Having unspayed stray cats running around just increases the population of stray cats. Mom will continue to have litters of strays.

Please! Next time have all of them spayed or neutered and then released. However, bless you for caring for them. So many would not have done that much.

I agree on catching kitties and having them spayed or neutered, but I myself would have trouble doing that because I don't know how to trap ferals. I should get more educated about that. Anyway, these are cuties!!
