Eva says: Cisco was rescued from near death on New Year's eve. He was very weak, unconscious, not eating, and hardly breathing. For some two days things were very bad. Then, after getting some fluids, special a/d food squirted in his mouth, lots of love, and good wishes, he slowly began getting better. After four days he seemed out of the woods and I took him to Jill, a loving foster mom who works from home. Jill has Cisco firmly on the road to health and happiness, with the help of her cats Julius, Gaius, Bogart, and Ma. She reports that he eats voraciously and loves hugs! He has also gained lots of weight. His litter box use is not always successful but he tries. All the other cats are fascinated by him. They lick him, hug him, and are totally in love. She also says that Cisco looks at Ma as a 12-year-old kid would look at Marilyn Monroe! I don't show his pics at his worst out of respect and sadness. Honestly I thought he wasn't going to make it.

Aw, Bogart looks exactly like my cat.

Bless you for rescuing that lovely cat and nursing him back to health. He's such a pretty orange kitty, lovely markings, and very lovely eyes. Anyone who rescues a cat, especially in that dire of circumstances, is a wonderful person. I'm glad Cisco is getting along so well :)

Oh, to be surrounded by love! What a very lucky kitty to be found by people who care. The shots are gorgeous - and I for one am happy to see the 'after' shots and know the story than to see his misery. I salute each and every one of you wonderful people who care enough to make a difference. Cisco looks like he has come home. Bravo!

These two look like my Tigger & Gateway, who were rescues I adopted from The Humane Society of New York - Tigger's a buff tabby, and Gateway's black & white. They became buddies at the shelter, and this is what they do, LOL!

Thank you Eva and Jill for taking such great care of this little guy. In the first picture, he has such sad eyes. I do not understand how human beings can be so hateful to these little catties.
He is lucky to have both of you in his life.
