fenlandsnapper says: The Three Musketeers were astonishing kittens. They were born at the home of my friend
Elkhead, who is a registered breeder of Burmese kittens in Cambridge, England. You've already met two of Elkhead's previous litters, the
Pride and Prejudice litter and the
Shakespeare litter. These three beauties had a rough start to life as the only survivors of a difficult pregnancy. They were born prematurely and were very small. Tragically, their mother, Silvie, passed away a few days after they were born due to complications from the birth. I know Elkhead and his wife still miss her enormously. Fortunately the kittens were raised beautifully by their grandmother Bronwen, their great-grandmother, and the lady of the house. After such a poor start, they turned into stunning kittens.
Porthos has a slightly crossed eye. Elkhead says he's the most laid back and affectionate of the three, and has become a charismatic and intelligent cat who charms everyone he meets. Aramisa (or Misa) is less outgoing apparently, but according to Elkhead she's the most mischievous of them all. Porthos and Misa went to the same owners who seem to be besotted by them. Athos is the most lively and assertive of the three. He went to a home full of pets including a Siamese cat.
