Dave says: Lyra is Milo's sister and we adopted them together from the Fife Cat Shelter here in Scotland. Lyra (named after the heroine in Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy) is less adventurous than her brother and likes to look after her own smaller territory in our top-floor flat. But like Milo she is very affectionate and likes to be near us. Her favourite thing? Anything on a piece of string. My favourite thing? Coming up with new ideas for how we can best redesign our flat to incorporate the both of them.

Just adorable - every time I get a link to this site I think I found the most beautiful creature then comes along another, and another and another - but this little cutie beats them all so far. Thanks for sharing the pictures with us - she is adorable and a looks like she thinks she lives there .... Didn;t know kitties like apples - she looks as if this apple is so apetising....hmmm yummy!!!

A bundle of snuggle, lovely! They are gorgeous kittens and isn't it so much fun to have two? I love the ones with the Apple logo - maybe she thought it was a cheezburger (a big Mac!) and wanted one! Lovely photos, you can tell when photos are taken by real cat lovers.

Cute x 2!!!! You must find a copy of "The Cat's House" to see how one CA couple tarted up and catted out their house - check Amazon. Your kitties may have come from a calico mother - they are very peachy creamy like those peachy calicos and their golden eyes indicate they are not just everyday alley cats. I am not sure why this is - but I have been told more than once about it. Lyra is on the rare side - for some genetic reason I can't figure out (personally) orange girls are unusual - we have one. These "twins" are delicious. I can see they are going to be happy for a long time with your family. It's hard not to love them isn't it. Thanks for sharing them.
