Bagheera

Patricia says: Bagheera is a snow Bengal cat (domestic cat/Asian leopard mix). We chose him out of three -- he was the biggest and he had the lowest set ears. His original name was Porky but we decided that didn't suit him so I chose the name Bagheera since Asian leopards come from India and Bagheera is a Hindi name. He's very rambunctious and hyperactive. (After all, he is a kitten!) He is also super cuddly and loves to sleep on my computer and behind it trying to get my attention. He also growls, which I have never heard any other cat do -- he does this when he has a toy in his grasp and you come close enough to the toy as if you're trying to take it. He is currently four months old and is growing very fast. His paws are already as big as my older cat's, and they also happen to be webbed.

This is one amazing cat! His coloration and personality are exceptional. You are some lucky girl. Bagheera has that wildness we love in cats and yet he is still domestic. And tech savvy? Photos are grand. Bet he gets that collar off!

What a lovely little boy! I have never seen a snow Bengal before. I've seen the brownish ones but never one this color. Absolutely georgeous.

He's REALLY gorgeous! And I'm glad he has a good home with you.

I always wonder why people are trying to breed wild cats into domestic size ones. First of all, why do people want bigger house cats??? And second, domestic cats still have a wild, independent streak in them; mixing in big cat genes is going to make them dangerous. And it just seems unnecessary...even if they ARE gorgeous.

I have never seen a Bengal cattie. He is magnificent, with beautiful markings. Do they swim a lot because they have webbed feet? I know that cats can swim as I had one who loved to swim in the pool.
