Buttercup loves to play with a good mousy or a cat-ribbon wand, or really any random box or crinkly piece of paper. Her owners should be careful of string around her as she seems to have a ability to find it and it can be very dangerous for her. She has a great purr that she saves for her happiest moments and gifts to her people. She has had some limited exposure to small children and has done well though she is timid and would rather keep some distance. She is interested in children though and will likely warm up over time with good treatment and earned trust.
Buttercup is sweet and kind and just wants to share her love with someone who loves her back. She would love to be adopted with her sister Tigra and/or her brother Bunny or another companion. However she is generally happy on her own and would be fine as an only kitten after some adjustment. She has had exposure to older cats and loves them. We watched her create a great bond with our nine-year-old cat over time. She really wants a loving family who will play with her and love her. Please contact the Humane Society of Silicon Valley if you would like to give her a permanent home.
